Gultekin Khan finds love again

Gultekin Khan has found the love again and tied the knot for the second time with Aftab Ahmad, an additional secretary of youth and sports ministry, after 16 years of divorce from her first marriage to renowned author Humayun Ahmed.

The couple completed the legal formalities in a private gathering of family and friends recently, the family members said.

Gultekin was first married to popular Bangladeshi author Humayun Ahmen in 1973. They parted ways in 2003 as the author decided to marry actress Meher Afroz Shawon.

Gultekin has been a friend to Aftab Ahmad for a long time. Aftab, known for his writings and poetry, is the son of veteran actress late Ayesha Akhter.

A student of English literature, Aftab got divorce from his first wife 10 years ago.

The couples are flooded with good wishes on social media and from well wishers.

Gultekin also posted a poem celebrating Aftab's birthday on 2 August that created quite a stir among the well wishers and fans.
