Jaaz keeps film industry hostage: Riaz

Film actor Riaz has recently accused Jaaz Multimedia for keeping the film industry hostage to itself but the production has denied the accusation.
Riaz said, “The film industry today is being kept hostage by the Jaaz Multimedia as if they have became the owner of all the cinema halls of the country. Everyone has to meet them first no matter whoever wants to make films nowadays.
He continued, “The organisation controls the technological support for most of the halls. They have all the machines used to show a movie with digital effect in the halls. That is why they consider themselves most powerful.”
Riaz said “The film industry will never flourish if orgnisations like Jaaz multimedia keep the halls in its control. Anything unilateral is harmful for the film industry.”
About the accusation of Riaz, the chief executive (CEO) of the company, Abdul Aziz said, “Why the hall will be kept hostage?”
He denied the accusations and said, “It is right that we have set up the projection systems in the halls of the country. We just take the cost for this. Anyone can set up the technologies if they want. Setting up of projection systems doesn’t mean that we are controlling the halls. I am doing my work as a businessman.”
