Sumaiya Shimu ties the knot

Popular TV actress Sumaiya Shimu has tied the knot with Nazrul Islam at a city hotel on Friday.
Nazrul Islam is serving as the country director of a US-based private organisation Relief International.
Shimu told Prothom Alo, “This marriage has been arranged by my family. This is why we barely get to meet.”
Shimu and Nazrul got engaged on the day after Eid-ui-Fitr.
Their reception is scheduled to be held at a hotel of city’s Nikunja area on Saturday.
This popular TV actress earned her MSS degree in government and political science from Jahangirnagar University.
Later she completed PhD programme in Dramatics from the same university.
