Mild earthquake jolted Dhaka and others parts of the country on Monday night.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the magnitude of the quake was 5.5 at the epicentre.
The epicentre of the quake was the Bangladesh-India border region, just 4 km of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet, said Google’s Android earthquake alerts system.
The quake struck at 8:49 pm at the depth of 10.0 km.
No casualty has been been reported immediately.
The quake was also felt in India and Myanmar.
