More than 100 items, for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialities, are in the offers of Khazana Restaurant that has been serving Indian delicacies in Dhaka for more than two decades.
Now, Khazana has shifted to a more spacious location in the heart of Gulshan-2, and the new space can accommodate over 150 guests at a time, apart from two banquet halls.
Khazana, which serves both lunch and dinner, says its new building features cozy corners for a comforting time with friends and family. It also offers food in buffet if there is a reservation for at least 30 guests.
“You’re getting everything at one place. And it’s an authentic Indian cuisine, north-west Indian frontier cuisine in particular,” Ovishek Sinha, director operations at Khazana Hospitality, told newsmen at a briefing on the new location at road number 51 in Gulshan-2 on Thursday.
“This is our mother brand and people love it. We’ve been so blessed,” he said adding that Khazana also offers the guests options of Bangla, Thai and Chinese foods. The restaurant has another branch in Uttara.
The Khazana official mentioned that they have big plans for this new location as it’s the perfect place to host wedding ceremonies and a nice quiet dinner with family and friends.
As part of its plans, Khazana is scheduled to hold a Kebab Parata festival in the first week of November.
Keeping in mind the needs and demands of the corporate clients, Khazana will introduce a “Corporate Thali (plate)” for less than Tk 600 per package soon, Ovishek Sinha announced.
Khazana’s two large banquet halls on the first floor of the building can accommodate 500 guests along. It has a space for parking 30 cars.
Also, it has private dining rooms that are ideal for corporate events such as product launches and meetings. There is a space for Sangeet and Mehedi events as well.
