The Hindu community of Narayanganj celebrated the 'Lal Kach' (red glass) festival on Friday, the last day of 1424 Bangabda (Bangla year).
In the festival, Lord Shiva and Parvati were worshipped.
It is believed that the gods eliminate the evil forces along with their soldiers on the occasion.
In the centuries-old tradition, participants hold the procession with their skin painted red.
They rejoice with swords in their hands and dance.
People gathered in crowds to enjoy the Lal Kach festival in Narayanganj.
