“Rabindranath Tagore is part of my life. I grew up under the influence of Tagore and my bookshelf is filled with his work,” said Papia.
“Tagore's literature amazes me. I was always into Rabindra Sangeet,” she added.
Like many other Bengali women, saree is her all-time favourite but she is comfortable with shalwar kameez at home.
She prefers traditional deshi ornaments than the gold and glittery ones.
Nina Ricci, Ralph Lauren, Lancôme -- Papia has quite a collection of perfumes. She always has a fascination for fragrance. In her words: “Old songs take us back to old times. So does perfume.”
Papia is not that nitpicky when it comes to eating, but avoids oily foods.
