Bangladesh's Grandmaster Razib beats Russia's Demchenko

Bangladeshi Grandmaster Enamul Hossain Razib beat Russian Grandmaster Anton Demchenko (Rating 2641) in the 6th round match of the 48th Annual World Open Chess Tournament being held at the online chess platform, Internet Chess Club (ICC), Saturday night, reports UNB.

Earlier, Razib drew with Erick Zhao in the 4th round and defeated Kenneth Patrick in the 5th round.

GM Razib sharing the 3rd slot along with four other players securing 4.5 points after the 6th round of the tournament, organised by the Continental Chess Association.
