New Zealand choose to bat first

Visiting New Zealand skipper Tom Latham won the toss and decided to bat first in the 5th T20 International match against Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur, on Friday.

The Tigers have already clinched the series, following their six-wicket victory in the fourth game. New Zealand hope to win the match and make the series 3-2.

The hosts have made four changes with Soumya Sarkar, Shamim Hossain, Shoriful Islam and Taskin Ahmed replaced Shakib Al Hasan, Mahedi Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin and Mustafizur Rahman.

The visitors also have made three changes to their side with Kuggeleijn, Sears and Duffy are back in the playing XI in place of Tom Blundell, Blair Tickner and Hamish Bennett.
