Nine Bangladeshi students from DPS STS School received 12 Outstanding Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards 2019.
Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are a group of awards given by Cambridge Assessment International Education. They recognise exceptional learner achievements in Cambridge examinations around the world. The primary purpose of these awards is to celebrate and recognise the success of high-performing Cambridge learners.
Students from schools under Foreign Curriculum across Bangladesh were awarded for their outstanding academic achievements at an award ceremony at International Convention City Bashundhara recently.
The students from DPS STS School Dhaka who received the awards are Aariyan Bin Shahriar who received Top in the World Award (Mathematics) award, Syed Shehzar Ahmed received Best Across 8 Cambridge IGCSE’s Award and also achieved Top in Bangladesh award for IGCSE ICT, Puru Vaish received Best Across 3 Cambridge International A Level’s Award and also Top in Bangladesh award for A Level Chemistry and Computer Science. Faiza Tasnim Zaman received Top in Bangladesh in AS Level Award for Economics.
Three more students from the school have received Top in Bangladesh in IGCSE Awards. They are Nayeema Siraj for Physics, Fahmid Shahrier for Economics, and Zaheer Abbas for Business Studies. Two students have received High Achievement in IGCSE Awards – Aariyana Hussain for Environmental Management and Aryana Eelma Rahman for Computer Science.
