IU team takes part in job fair

A four-member team of Islamic University participated in a job fair in the capital on Friday.

Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh (OCAB) organised the fair at Gulsan 2 in Dhaka, said IU information, publication and public relations office.

The four IU team members are - SM Mustafizur Rahman Tamim of Accounting and Information Systems department, M Shahabub Alam of Finance and Banking department, ASM Imran Hossain of Information and Communication Engineering department and Humayun Ahmad Smrat of Management department.

The team took part in the fair led by IU Marketing department chairman professor M Zakaria Rahman and English department associate professor M Shahadat Hossain Azad.

It is a step forward towards the process of internationalisation for Islamic University, IU vice-chancellor professor Rashid Askari told UNB.

"IU graduates will prove their worth in the international arena," he hoped.

A total of 19 teams from public and private universities took part in the job fair.
