JnU Unit-2 admission test today: 27 fight for each seat

The first year honours admission tests of Unit-2 of Jagannath University (JnU) for the session 2019-20 will be held on Friday.

The written test for Unit-2 (faculty of arts, social science, law, Institute of Modern Language, and the Institute of Education and Research) will be held in two shifts --morning shift from 10:00am to 11:30am, and in the afternoon, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.

The admission seekers will have to enter the exam centres at least 30 minutes before the examination starts, said a press release.

This year, a total of 22,950 aspirants will be fighting against 850 seats of the unit. As many as 27 admission seekers will vie for each seat of the unit.

Meanwhile, the written test for Unit-1 (faculty of science, life and earth sciences) will be held on 21 September.

The practical and viva for admission into the departments of music, theatre, fine arts and film and television will be held on 29 September.
