Gaza rescuers say 38 killed in Israeli attacks on Eid day

Gaza's civil defence agency said that 38 people were killed by Israeli strikes or gunfire across the Palestinian territory on Friday, where Palestinians observed the Eid al-Azha holiday under the shadow of war for a second consecutive year.

Civil defence official Mohammed al-Mughayyir told AFP that 38 people had been killed in various Israeli attacks since dawn, including 11 in a single strike in Jabalia in the north.
