Bangladesh lost its Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim on the third day of the first Test against South Africa at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Thursday.

This time Dale Steyn trapped Mr dependable Mushfiqur lbw at his 28 runs.

Bangladesh reached 199-5 in 76 overs, trail by 49 runs in their 1st innings.

On the second day, Tigers scored 178-4 in 66.5 overs as Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal and middle order batsman Mohammad Mahmudullah scored fifty each.

The Proteas were dismissed for a modest 248 in Chittagong in their first innings.
