Star allrounder Shakib Al Hasan would play the first Test against Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh cricket team's Test captain Mominul Haque confirmed the news at a press conference today.
“Shakib bhai seemed okay during the practice. Yes, he will play,” Mominul said.

Shakib Al Hasan recovered from Covid-19 and joined the team in Chattogram ahead of the first Test against Sri Lanka on Friday night. He also took part in practice today.

The all-rounder tested positive for the virus on 10 May after returning to Bangladesh from the United States. But he has tested negative in a fresh Covid-19 test.
The first Test of two match series will begin on 15 May in Chattogram.
