Mirza Fakhrul ‘detained’ from Gulshan

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been detained, BNP chairperson's media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan said.

Shairul Kabir Khan said the Detective Branch detained Mirza Fakhrul from his residence in the capital's Gulshan-2 on Sunday morning.

Detective Branch (Gulshan division) additional deputy commissioner Hafiz Al Asad told Prothom Alo they have brought Mirza Fakhrul to their custody.
